Suzanne Williams
I graduated from the University of London with a History degree, specialising in the late Roman and Byzantine period. Next I took a two-year MA in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute where I completed a thesis on Surrealism and André Breton. Since graduating I have worked exclusively with images in the world of book publishing. My first job was as a picture researcher with Thames and Hudson, which drew on my knowledge of fine art and archaeology. Subsequently I worked at a general books publisher, Macdonald & Co, with an emphasis on educational books. Since then I have worked as a freelance art editor for many publishers, enjoying the diversity of content, the challenge of juggling the many facets of the job and the pleasure of finally tracking down the perfect shot!

I have joined Suzanne in the picture business from a different and continuing career in music. In addition to finding pictures I endeavour to develop and extend our use of IT, which is now so essential, and also provide necessary administrative support.
